I have not seen any listings for an RPM or an OMM for the 1920-S Buffalo nickel. Has anyone seen this mintmark variety before?

@glo, are you sure that this isn't a tiny die chip on that letter S?

I'm not sure that it is not a die chip, but the raised area coming down the left side of the mintmark makes me feel that it might be something more.

Looks like a die chip to me. The area mentioned to the left of the MM looks like Die Deterioration.

I have added two more photos with angled lighting coming in from the left, highlighting the bottom loop of the "S." This certainly makes it look like an S over S to me.

Does look like a partial S below the normal mintmark, displaced to the south. Seems like it would require two die chips to create this look.
Hope some OMM specialists chime in!
