My buddy Mike and I went for a fall hunt at the Bible Camp we detected in May. The November Wisconsin weather was great; low 50s and some sun. Even though I have been detecting this camp since 2016, we keep finding goodies.
I dug a total of 23 coins including a 1940-S
Washington quarter, four Wheat Cents and also found a silver ring. Mike found 21 coins. Among there were a very nice 1948
Roosevelt dime and three Wheat Cents.
There was a tragic note to the day. As I sat down at a picnic table for lunch, I saw that my beloved metal detecting jeans had a huge rip down the front. I guess all those years of getting up and down finally did them in. The back pockets have already been restitched several times. Such is life.
