One of my dump banks just had somebody cash in $100 face in BU 1956 nickels! She can hold them for awhile, so I am trying to decide how many of them I want to get. For many $100 is not much, but that is a lot for me to sit on. Wondering if anyone thinks there might be a market for something like this. Comments?

Those things have to be worth at least a nickel a piece.

Why would you have to sit on them? Search them for the nice ones, and dump the rest, like usual.

I would try to buy them all and if you truly are hard up for cash keep the full steps and return the others. I would also keep checking in with that bank because the likelihood is that the same customer will return with more coins.

Keep us posted!

Very true! If you can even get a few certified "Full Step" you'll add a good chunk of change to your coin budget. ~ Jim
