In a "when it rains it pours" moment, I went from having no examples of this die to having two examples. Both were cherrypicks, with one being spotted by a friend who put me onto it.
I don't do much with
Mercury dimes but this one caught my attention as VarietyVista notes they would like to see a specimen for updated photos and markers. When the first one came up I figured I'd grab it and send it in. Then the second one showed up in a different die stage and, well, now I had to have that one too. They are currently in a pile to go to VV.
All the images are of the second coin, which is in quite high grade but is late die stage. The very last image is the MDS coin's date just for a bit of comparison.
