Do you think this coin could net grade at G4 ?
I still beleive in the lower grade side gets the grade but ?
Seeing it's key date status etc. just wondering what the TPG's
might think. If AG, what exact grade there.
Thanks

Third Party grading usually favors the obverse over the reverse in grading.
Your coin is VG-10 on the reverse and AG on the obverse...Net grade: G6 $$$

I agree. AG on OBV, VG on reverse, net= G4-G6. I would be very disappointed to receive an AG3 overall on this coin- it is way better than the AG3 coins that populate ebay.

That should easily net to G04. Because of the 1877 date, it might have a shot at G06.

Thanks all for your input. Guess G4 should be a safe bet.
Deciding if worth sending off (will be to anacs) if so, to see if it gets maybe a G6

I would get this coin certified only because there are so many counterfeits out there. You will have an easier time moving this coin in the future come time to sell. This coin has the reverse diagnostics of a genuine 1877. Nice coin.
