1945 S/S Washington Quarter - RPM-007 - Struck Through Retained

I posted one of these RPMs about six months ago, but this one has the added attraction of a bit of struck through, retained, metal. I'm not really sure if it is a Rim Fin or a rim burr, but looks pretty thin so guessing it was a Rim Fin. Or maybe just a random bit of thin cladding that was floating around. Hard to say.

Working on trying to get better pics of non-copper coins. This effort, in my opinion, was not a winner. The pics don't seem real sharp and the glare is still an issue for the full coin shots. The copper tint is from a light that was on in the background and at least that I could get rid of in the future.

The closeups I'm not sure but the full coin pics, I have found darker backgrounds, dark blue for me, seem to work very well, makes it focus better on the coin for some reason. You have a direct line with Ray, pick his brain.
