This is a listing on ebay, 404687212937, "1955 S Cud 9 BIE + STRIKE THROUGH Error Coin Lincoln Wheat cent Penny unique". The seller had AI write the description.

This unique 1955 S Lincoln Wheat penny features a rare error known as Cud 9 BIE, along with a STRIKE THROUGH. It is a circulated Small Cent made of bronze, with a rd color and a business strike type. The coin was minted in San Francisco, United States, and it is uncertified and ungraded. This coin also has several notable aspects, including its composition, denomination, and features. The error on this coin is a rare find for collectors and makes it a one-of-a-kind piece. Don't miss out on the opportunity to add this impressive coin to your collection.

The only thing AI got correct is "minted in San Francisco, United States, and it is uncertified and ungraded."

So its just a broken post on the 9?

The seller made multiple errors in the title and that is what the AI uses for the description. It is the seller's error, not the AI.

Yeah ebay coins are just 50/50 fake or misleading no doubt.
Choose the seller wisely and do the research to know what
you're buying! It's too bad really.

I've noticed a lot of AI descriptions on ebay as of late, especially on trading cards. Is it a new ebay feature?

Over in the "Worst coins for auction" thread, we've been poking fun at some of the AI descriptions, such as this gem:
"Not only is this quarter a rare find, but it is also uncertified, which adds to its exclusivity."
Feel free to join in on the fun there:

For an asking price of $2K, you'd think that the seller would at least write their own descriptions.
