I happy to show my first set of roman coins.
I'm fairly new to this hobby, but I must say I really enjoy the feeling of holding these coins with so much history.

What do you think? Which is you favorite and why?

My next collection will be the 14 most known roman gods on sestertius.

/Velkommen to CCF!

You have a very nice collection there. The Hadrian would be my favorite, it has a very attractive portrait.

Looking forward to see your sestertius collection!

First welcome to CCF. Second, they are all pretty nice, but I like the remaining detail on the obv of Nerva--what a great nose!

For someone very much unversed in ancients, but is toying with the idea of being more serious about them, could you gie a short synopsis of who each of those, and what the REV design represents? I can read the lettering where it is legible but that is not enough to make out what they say in all cases.

Welcome and what a great start to collecting! The 5 good guys is always a big hit. My favorite is the Nerva, after collecting off and on for 10 years he is the only one of the 5 I still don't have yet.

It is:
Nerva - Aequitas
Trajan - Pax
Hadrian - Aequitas
Antoninus Pius - Felicitas
Marcus Aurelius - Genius Exercitus

The Nerva is my favourite as by far the hardest to get in good condition.
