I came across a a 1984 penny that has been in circulation for a while, but the die cracks and delaminated on both sides makes this a curious coin.

Thoughts?

Did that go into the garbage disposal? Hard to distinguish anything from PMD here.

Oh, I do not know, I kinda like the way the zinc is eating away the coin that look makes me hungry for pizza and the different shades of grey reminds me of early morning fog, best of all the scratches and hit marks resembles markings in the sand made by a baby. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so if you find this coin beautiful as I do, then keep it.

Damage has exposed the zinc core, which is showing advanced stages of zinc rot. I'd keep it as a fun curiosity.

Honestly, if I came across that coin searching coins it would have gone right in the return pile without using my loupe on it. Even if it was a variety or an error with all the damage on it would be a waste of time to examine it. Also, a few too many photos. As a general rule;one full coin photo front and back and one or two close ups.
