This penny was an oddball in an old bank roll of 1960 pennies. I tried to figure out where half of the normal weight was stripped off from but there is no huge sign of copper being scraped off. The appearance on the reverse looks like some kind of die clash or something. The planchet is thin but there are full details on some of the obverse and reverse. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Split before strike planchet, as others have said. Great find!

Was this a roll ender? because it looks like it may have roll crimper damage.

Large date and it was not an ender. It was sort of in the middle of the roll so it might just be machine damage that looks like wheel marks.
