Any thoughts? Is this 1935D LWC just Machine Doubling or a new DDR?
Thanks,
Mike

Thank you for the note John. Yes, there's 2 known DDRs described. Both have very different patterns than this one, with strong towards the rim doubling of the first dot (e dot p). In case it's helpful here's a pic of the 2 DDRs in the 3 reference sites.
Any thoughts on if this is just Machine Doubling or a DDR?

The dot between E and P is not elongated but the E sure looks promising.

With the pics given, I'm leaning towards MD but kind of hard to tell with the fuzziness. That would be a nice one if it were a new one. That's the other thing that gives me pause though, something this noticeable not being listed.

I am also leaning towards MD considering the devices are not enlarged, the doubling all point to the same direction, the S shows the MD effects the best.

Doesn't look like it matches the known DDR's for '35-D.
However it does seem to have some interesting characteristics..
