Villasenor1979 New Member United States 7 Posts	Posted 02/04/2024 9:18 pm My dad found out I'm suddenly into coin collecting, he isn't a collector he has to many other hobbies he's into but when my grandpa past away he inherited his coins. mrwhatisit Pillar of the Community United States 2952 Posts	Posted 02/04/2024 9:36 pm Unfortunately this appears too good to be true, it is too round and too sharply struck in my eyes when compared to a genuine example. If this is a genuine example, the value of this is astronomically high, but I think this is a counterfeit example based on the look of this. Report this Post to the Staff

lcutler Pillar of the Community United States 1655 Posts	Posted 02/05/2024 04:36 am Unfortunately a cast replica. The grainy mushy details are the key pickups. It's a copy of the Noe-1 variety, the most common variety replicated. If you take it out of the holder you'll most likely see evidence of a casting seam on the edge. You can then weigh it as suggested, but no doubt this is a copy. Report this Post to the Staff
