Is it dipped, polished, or some other cleaning? Or not? Thanks for your help. I picked this one up because I liked the toning, but in hand the coin appears like it's experienced some kind of cleaning.

Possibly retoning over an old cleaning, but not bad looking.

Why do the photos need to be taken with the coin between your fingers?

Just curious why you do it this way ... the photos are indeed reasonably in focus.

I see no issues - lovely original example.

Looks like a straight grade AU58 coin with natural toning.

Looks fine to me too. Maybe an old, light cleaning that has re-toned but not a problem.

Beautiful 1918 Lincoln Commemorative!!!!

While the Obverse has taken a Few Hits, Looks Very Well Struck..

The Reverse Has Less. The "TONE " has Rainbow effects, To Me, Just Odd that the Tone is NOT uniform, More pronounced, Fuller.......

Does Not mean This coin has any Negatives, Just find the Tone Off, With the Perimeter Only, The Center of the coin has a Very Differing, Pale Tone,Almost a Polished Look, No Original Luster....( was cleaned Prior Look)..........

PS, David is 100% correct, We Never Ever handle Any Collectibles with Our Bare Hands, The oils will Leave Distracting Traces on Our Coins............

Enjoy.....Classic Commemoratives Are Always Sweet.!!!!!
