Good evening CCF.. This is one of those fun finds that I thought someone might help me verify possible errors on. I'm pretty sure it's a 1972 P broad strike from the number two master die due to the doubling on the N in IGWT, The coin also has another area that appears to be another strike of some sort or damage caused by the broken or missing collar. I tried to keep the number of photos at a minimum, but I can post more if needed. It'd definitely a keeper for me. I am by no means an expert, but I'm trying to use knowledge that I've gained here on CCF. Hope I got some of it right. Thanks for your comments.

So, the master die doubling is crazy common, better than half of all coins struck in 72, so not a helper but the rest is very cool! I'll wait and see what the folks that know about these things reply.

Thanks makecents.. I agree with you about the master die doubling. I just found it interesting that I could connect it to a broad strike. If it's actually a broad strike.

Looks broadstruck to me--what is the diameter? Also for the rim near TRUST, do you think that is ejection damage?

Yes..I thought the rim damage was from ejection. Might have been jammed or something.

Very nice and Air-Tite capsule worthy. Mike might want to see it.

The indentation at 1:00 appears to be a small external chain strike. Such errors occur when the expanding perimeter of a broadstruck coin makes contact with the unstruck portion of an off-center planchet that is pinned by the dies of the adjacent striking chamber.

Nice I don't think I've ever seen a broad strike with that wide of a rim.
