Some pretty coins. I like how they describe those MS-67/68 coins as "near mint" or "excellent condition".

The headlines almost suggest that these could be found in pocket change, but all the listings are for the highest sale price of the item, not for anything under high mint state.

Interesting read. You are never going to find any of those coins in change although the article hints to it.
That 1953-S FS example is otherwise a mushy strike coin.

I've lost faith in PCGS being able to distinguish what a Full Step coin is.

 NGC seems to edge them out in this designation. Several on that list strike me as tremendous bargains (for those fortunate enough with disposable income) when looking over the upper graded specimens. Thanks for sharing that!
