Hey all, has anyone seen something like this on a Morgan before? I've seen rim Cuds before, but not a foot Cud. Any opinions would be appreciated!

@uni, can you please tell us the date and mint of this coin? It is generally helpful information to have and I need to add it to the thread title. Thx.

@John1 yes, I didn't find anything on the main page involving the feet. There are several VAMs with die chips, but again not involving the feet. I have not done a deeper dive to see if this is somehow considered a secondary pick up.

Maybe VAM 43 or 45? Those have leg doubling.

It would help to have full images of both sides. VAM-80A seems similar but that's just the first one I landed on. People are going to need to see any other die cracks etc to attribute it.

I'm a VAM noob but saw this question asked in another coin forum that shall not be named and it seems like a match.

I see the foot glob but not the obv & rev clashes in the full coin pics OP provided so not sure if it's a VAM match but the right foot sure looks the same.

Thanks numismatic student. I actually saw that one as well, but ruled it out as well since it didn't have the clashes.
