This is fun.

No intent to value just to share. The 1st is a planchet error on a 1943 Tombac. Total of the reverse has rim die imbalances that should not be there which has me wondering if it is in fact a de-lamination of the obverse surface.

I don't know what you mean by die rim unbalances. Do you mean the Morse code there?

The "rim die imbalances" are due to Die Deterioration, chipping of the chrome plating on the die.
Vey common condition on wartime nickels, when it affects the devices it is often called "mortar set".
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
