coinhusker26, this is called a "BIE" error. It's due to a die chip in the LIBERTY area, and is quite common on Lincoln cents from the 1950s.

I just kinda realized it's the BIE. Not sure how I missed that. But most 55's shown when searched is the super doubled 55. Finding it now. Seems very common

A very nice BIE and yes, it is a die chip and not a Cud. See if it's listed on Cuds-on-Coins/ Broken Die Errors.
