We came across this 1983 Cud during a recent hunt. First time seeing one of these. I think its legitimate. And through the scope we noticed the streak from the NE rim straight across Lincolns face. Not sure what that could be, maybe just damage. There's a good image in the third picture. Any idea if that line is just a scratch or a die crack? *** Moved by Staff moved to a more appropriate forum. ***

Nice Cud and the feature going thru Lincoln's forehead appears to be a linear gas bubble as stated above.

Wow!. That's pretty substantial - a reverse pic? - to see if there is any weakness on the coin in that area should help prove it.
