Recently bought on ebay. Pretty enough to share.
I'd like to send it for grading and a die clash designation.
Any suggestions on where to send it?
Also, acetone bath first or leave it alone?

As to acetone,I would leave it alone. Not sure, but I do not think it is worth sending in.If you feel you have to slab it,use ANACS.It is a nice die clash.

Beautiful obv clash.

Interesting that the rev seems to show no signs of a clash. The mint must have changed out the rev die.

Hi Petespockets55.
My photo didn't capture the reverse clash. Here's the ebay photo where the reverse clash is more apparent. I also included the obverse image from the ebay ad, which is also more detailed than my image.

I'm using a Tomlov TM4K scope. I use both the internal ring light with and without the plastic diffuser and the fancy external LED ring light that came with the scope.

Any suggestions on how light and filter a specimen to get more surface detail, like the die clash depression detail on untoned coins like this would be appreciated.
