I'm not good at this but it does look fake , no serifs on the letters and the face of the king looks wrong.

His gold is all fake as well...not to mention he is auctioning a counterfeit 1943 copper cent, pretending he listed it as a simple steel cent

Not your usual Chinese made '48 Note the bite out of George's coif below VI There are other markers as well but this is dead easy. This seller has sold and has for sale a number of fake dollars, some with the usual "fat L" marker and some with the obverse marker as in the pic.

The bag marks and non-proof strike on his 1967 "Proof 68" $20 gold are ridiculous also.

Not a '48, but here's a fat L counterfeit dollar recently offered by the same seller. This seller has sold thousands of dollars worth of counterfeit coins in the last month

Surprisingly, this buyer gave him neutral feedback even though this was the comment:
"The $3 gold coin had no gold. 61.6-Cu, 31.7-Zn, .8-W, .1-Fe. Mostly copper and Zinc. Was not accurately described."

The klown really needs some jail time . That said the bottom feeders seeking so called deals need a numismatic education.
