I like it! You have my vote. Maybe an American flag waving behind Lincoln?

Is that Mechanical Doubling?
Nice design, I like the seated memorial figure of Lincoln and it does sort of complete the life of Lincoln series.
Kind of like the Jefferson, return to Monticello idea.

Let's see:-) Lincoln Cent reverse...I like it. We will have to have two varieties....the 2010 RSC and then the one where somebody complains about the initials being too prominent so a 2010 without RSC should be ready:-)

You will be in good company with Brenner:-)

I really think that it is pretty classy:-)

Maybe a little bigger on the E PLURIBUS UNUM?

Thanks,
Bill

I don't like it. We already have a statue of that particular Lincoln (sitting) so why should we have another one? I stand by my eagle.

Wheezy: I did a three color overlay to make it look raised.

Foundinrolls: I thought of that when I added it to see if anyone would pick up on it. The EPU was the hardest to get to that size. Some day when my patience returns, I may fix that.

David: Eagle? You see those on all other coinage. Do something to stand apart from the other coins. We already have the NO P mint mark continuing on them.

lol that design rocks, but it would need to be struck up at the West Point Mint in order to get the dubya mintmark. ~ Jim

I don't see it as being embelic of his preservation of the Union, but none of the others do either and yours is much better than any of the proposed designs I've seen so far. It is simple yet strong, iconic, and with good balance. And the kness will make great places to check for wear or strike weakness.
