Hi, I am interested in finding a good price guide with good images of past and present coinage and currency of Australia. Anyone have a good link or dot com name for me to look at? Thanks!

You could try our member Bigfella's site:

http://www.newcastlecoins.com.au/

keep clicking on Books until a picture of the latest Macca's guide appears. Published yearly, latest edition is 16th, published Dec 2008. This is generally thought to be the most used guide of Aussie coins.

There's also another guide called "Renniks Australian Coin & Banknote Values" but Shane (Bigfella) doesn't appear to have them in stock. Published roughly every 2 yrs, supposed to be a new edition later this year. Latest edition 22nd, published June 2007.

Good luck!

G'day, Nancy fairly tells you about both catalogues. Most Australians prefer one, or the other. And, when there's nothing better to talk about, we debate our preferences.
Both, in my opinion, suffer from giving far too much space to NCLT, and not enough to varieties.

Have you had a look at this site. Doesn't give prices, however images and info are pretty good.

gnome That is pretty much what I was looking for. I can figure values out from there if I like a certain coin by checking prices realized. Thanks everyone for responding. I tried the others but this one will suit me best for now.
