ebay auctions have people thinking any small imperfection will bring people a lot of money. A lot of people get sukered by these auctions and only find out when they get in touch with the realities of the coin hobby that something like this is so common that no premium is added to the coin b/c of such a minor example of a
Grease Filled Die.
Sometimes someone will find where the missing letters make an unusual text like, "In God We rust," hype it up, and get a few more bucks. But mainstreak collectors typically see this type of thing for the common happening it is and do not put more value to it.
