This is a coin I had looked at recently and just got an offer from the dealer. I see this a a very nice high end EF45, but I don't think it makes it into AU. Dealer pricing it at low AU money. Thoughts? I'm inclined to pass, but it is a pretty example.

Good dealer that I've bought from before, but I think they're just a tad rich on this one. That's why I posted it - I'm tempted because I could sell my current 08-S (which is a nice EF40) to help pay for this one. Problem is that I caught a great deal on the EF40 coin! Inclined to stick with that winner, but this is a nice one.

I'll say AU-55, most attractive.

Yeah, just struck a deal with the seller. Top shelf seller who I've bought from before and never been disappointed. I'll put my EF40 08-S up for sale and upgrade with this one. Thanks for the opinions. Will post in-hand pics when it arrives.

mid AU blast. nice coin. AU55 imo. headband has fully defines edges, full ribbon separation. decent overall strike. I think a low end AU price would be pretty good for this one. there is not a whole lot of difference in price between AU50 and 55. I would think a price in the $170 range would be a really good buy. good luck. let us know if you pull the trigger and what you got for.

I'm into it for more than that, panzaldi, but I'll keep my council until it arrives. I'll post new pictures of it then in-hand.

Nobody mentioned the reverse rim ding at about K10, so I'm guessing that's not bothering anyone. I'm OK with it.
