Why does your pictures make it look like all your coins were plated? And no on the grading - every cent is very common and in circulated condition.

Wanting to and should are two different things. None of these coins should ever be sent in. They are common wheats that can be found in better condition at anytime. The 27 looks like it was plated or mercury rubbed.

Agree with all above. The urge to submit coins for grading is strong...

None worth grading.
Something seriously wrong with that '27.

None are worth sending in to be graded. The 1927 Wheat cent has been plated/polished.

@mes, best practice is to only post one coin per thread so that we can give each one the attention that it needs. When you get around to posting your coins from group2, can you please split them out into separate threads? Thx.

Nope - all would be a serious waste of grading fees.

the 27 has been tampered with and has no numismatic value, the others are common coins. finding a coin in circulation or even pulled from there decades ago, that has any value worth slabbing, is nil here are the grading costs PCGS charges a minimum of $69 for a subscription other subscription levels include grading vouchers though so you could reduce these costs. add to the subscription cost, per coin grading cost which I think for this one might be $23, shipping & ins both ways (1-4 coins is $27 if the total value is under $1000) NGC - economy grading tier is $22, plus $10 handling fee, plus $28 for shipping (1-5 coins). ANACS grading would be $16 but there's a 5 coin minimum. Shipping would be $29-35. i don't slab coins for these reasons especially the cost involved. I don't know why this is so popular today. just making the grading companies wealthy. don't get sucked into the grading frenzy. you'll just lose $$

Thank you all for your input. I inherited these coins and thus have no idea if they've been cleaned, or polished or plated etc. The '27 was wrapped up in a tissue, the others were in containers.

Mespe they all appear to have been pulled in circulation a while ago. other than the 27 the others are in good condition but really don't have any value due to the number of coins minted in those years

The 1927 has been plated and has no collector value. The other coins are common and not worth slabbing.

Nothing here worth spending any money on TPG grading.
