This time I'm sure. The notching on the W gave it away, aside from everything else! Now let's hear how I'm wrong as per usual!

Looks like plating issues. Not seeing a DDO.

Plating issues? How would that be relevant? Is the W not hugely notched in its double?

Posted photos appear to suggest split plating, not a DDO. Would love to see a full, large and sharp image of the entire obverse. Wondering if Die Deterioration may be doing its magic here.

Sure looks like split plating above each of the devices.
But, how about a full coin image of both sides for an overall look see?

This site is horrible for uploading images. I tried so many good pics to get down to file size. Also tried posting Imgur album link. No dice.

Irelandos, first off, any time you have a coin you think is a variety and it was struck before 1990 and has a mint mark, please include that pic (the date and mm), it will help see very quickly if it has a possibility of matching a known variety, it's a great marker. We need some better pics but yours has the looks of VV's DDO-002. Need that date mm pic though and some clearer pics of the other areas in the link below. Also, relax. Irelandos, thank you for the additional pics, a little rough but good enough for me to compare your date/mm location, it looks really close, look below at the comparison. You need to work on your pic clarity and check out the markers for this doubled die I have already given you the link for. I think I was a little off on lining up the pics but looks extremely close.

It looks to me like the FS 101 variety, the die crack in the hair is present and the spread seems to align overall with the pics from that one? In my first pic in the original post where you can see the strong notching in the W that one also shows the start of the die crack in the hair.
Also for split plating, would it not be everywhere? And would their be raised, partial devices and not just split open plating? These are raised as much as the original devices are. And then there's the D, and Lincoln's details in general, the ear ect

This honestly just looks like blistered plating. My bet is that you could easily depress that "doubling" with a toothpick.

I'm afraid there is some denying it.
