allcoinsaregood Pillar of the Community United States 808 Posts	Posted 04/29/2024 12:44 pm I really like this 1950 D LWC, the wheat stocks on the reverse are some of the best I have seen. To think this coin is 74 years old and out of circulation, well it's remarkable! But unfortunately the obverse show's some field hits including Lincoln's beard and a small carbon spot on the lower left rim it still is a great survivor. I did not see any errors but I looked! IGWT is dished at the rim so tough to photograph because my lighting is not the best, so I took some insert photos to better show the condition of the coin. The color is pretty close to what my eye sees. As to red brown or red, looks copper to me but I did have a stroke in March of 2023 so it affected my vision some, mostly in contrast.
