Just wondering what you thought this one grades, it was purchased raw from Jake's Marketplace and the more I look at it the more I don't agree with their assigned grade but I am not very good with the series so thought I would ask all of you what you thought from the pictures

Nice looking coin. Liberty in the shield looks strange or is it just the picture? I would grade this as AU-55 cleaned.

I think it is slightly better Ms-60 and not cleaned.
Great coin regardless.
How much did it cost ya - if I might ask.

I'd guess AU55-58. Very nice coin but the rubs are a bit much for it to go MS.

Definitely a bit of rub, enough to bring it to AU-55 IMO. Hopefully you didn't pay MS money since I'm pretty sure it has seen some light circulation.

The color could be original but an old cleaning is a possibility. I'd carefully check for hairline scratches under a good light, but based on these views the coin has good eye appeal and doesn't appear to have any serious problems.

I didn't actually pay for the coin so I am not 100% sure what they paid for the coin but Jakes Marketplace graded the coin at MS-63 and as I said the more I look at it the more I disagree with their grade. I have always heard good things about this place and thats why I told someone to go there when they wanted to buy me something but now I have a totally different opinion about them. Its already in my dansco7070 album so I can't return it and it was a gift and I think it meets the requirements for the 7070 album (atleast AU and problem free) but still doesn't meet a MS-63 grade to me. Oh yeah, I don't see any evidence of any cleaning on this coin even under a microscope
