This image is from a coin that has me curious. The description says extra metal at the N in unum but to the right side of the memorial I see something I can't explain. Image is from website so I can't supply a better one.

@see, I'm seeing a lamination, which is pretty common for these War Nickels. I think that the "extra" pieces of metal are just flakes from the lamination which are partly detached and potentially moved around.

So no big deal? The obverse of this coin also shows some minor lamination issues.

Agree, no big deal. Lamination issues are commonly found on the warnicks.

could be a lamination or just a circulation hit - hard to tell with this image - in either case, nothing to write home about..
