It's probably nothing but I just wanted to double check. This quarter weighs 5.52 grams. I'm wondering if it could be struck on the wrong planchet. I know the U.S. Mint has minted coins for other countries in the past and I wondered if that might be what happened here. I looked at the rim of the coin and it is composed of two metals, apparently copper and zinc. The weight is only a little more that 2.5% off, and I know that's no big deal. It never hurts to ask for expert opinions though. So do I have something?

It's slightly underweight. Looks pretty normal to me.

Tolerance is listed as ± 0.227 gms (5.443 - 5.897 gms), so your quarter is within tolerance.
