What would you all feel would be a "Fair" price to pay for a bank wrapped roll of the 2nd ceremony, "the formative years". A roll of the 2009 cents, with a Lincoln stamp on the roll cancelled from the Lincoln City Post Office, dated May 14-th 2009. Seriously, what is a fair price to ask/pay for fellow member's?

Personally I would say $.42 more than you would for a roll without the stamp...I don't think the stamp adds any value to the roll. Just my personal opinion.

Morgans Dad are you thinking about selling us some? If that is the plan, I'd give you 3-4 bucks for the coins, stamp and your time.

Just to be clear I was not saying I would only pay $.92 for a roll of lincolns...Just that I didn't think the stamp added much value. The log cabin rolls were going solidly for $8.95 a roll plus shipping on ebay...

I thought this topic would bring more responses than the few I see, I would really like to know what is considered a fair price to pay. I do not think $3-4 is a fair price, if so please send me a box, LOL, ...

To Me they are not worth as much as the Mint wrapped rolls which I can buy for $5 a Roll including shipping
The stamp to me is not even worth the .42 cents since it has been canceled

Aw, come on guys. If Morgan's Dad has one for sale that he can ship today with the May 14, 2009 postmark and stamp and all, I think someone should offer at least $500 for it. That would be fair. Could even wait and ship tomorrow if needed.

daviscfad, My point exactly, however how much would you pay and feel the price is fair.I know the rolls on E-bay are going for $45 + shipping for the 1-roll, dated from the release date, some are even more than that, So, what would you think is a fair price for the Formative years roll?

Sorry, I was being sarcastic. The question you're asking is "how much would someone be willing to pay"? There's a big difference. How much you're going to get will be based on how many buyers are there, simple supply and demand. With the first design buyers were paying as much as $250 early on. I think the fever has died down some, but I expect you'll still find buyers in the $100 range for the first few posted on ebay.
