Soooo... my good friend at one of the local branches of my main buy bank had this waiting for me as I walked in yesterday afternoon... 33 silver dimes and 4 1943 Philly steel cents! She's been saving wheat cents for me for awhile now (best so far was a 1935-S), and even got me a 1918 Buffalo nickel a while back, but this one really takes the cake. Oh, and let me not forget the date and MM breakdown: 1946, 1947, 1957 (2), 1957D, 1958, 1959, 1959-D (3), 1960-D, 1961-D, 1962-D (5), 1963, 1963-D (5), 1964, 1964-D (9). CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

Not a bad haul at all.... at least $76.50 (if I counted correctly & did my math right) worth of silver, nice!

That is a great haul! A nice payoff for cultivating a long term relationship with the tellers! =)

Definitely give that teller a reward (if the bank lets her quietly accept one). I reward tellers even when they play only a passive role helping me acquire silver coins. It builds good vibes to use during subsequent visits.

Oh, she's definitely got something else coming in addition to what I already got her. It was her birthday at the end of April, and we're both so busy (we both work 50+ hours most weeks) that we haven't had a chance to get together and celebrate yet... Ironically, her present is worth just about the same as said haul of coins... Quote: That is a great haul! A nice payoff for cultivating a long term relationship with the tellers! =) Yeah, these past eight + years I've been doing this, I've cultivated a handful of really nice relationships with tellers... I've had several of them save me stuff over that time. Others, I just have really good friendships with, and we kind of share what's going on in each others' lives with each other. I've been very blessed by this hobby of mine in so many ways.
