50.00 dollar bill; 2009 series; Federal Reserve Note; Fort Worth TX D 36. Plate Position "D1" ; Back Plate "26" Serial Number JF51564893A
Has the word "Olive" on the obverse, left side under the federal reserve indicator"F6" what I found interesting is that the word "Olive" seems to be stamped before the "inking" of the bill. I leave a huge margin for the area of myself being incorrect. I searched everywhere and I am not able to locate anything like it and I checked to make sure it was not funny money.
Looks to me like it is a partial teller bank stamp of some sort. For sure it was added long after the note left The Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Ft Worth
"Olive" could be the name of a street, part of the address or a branch location of the bank. I know there were several banks located on Olive Ave in Phoenix Az!
That's my Two Cents and I'm sticking with it. Maybe somebody else can make a better guess!
interesting I had thought because the inking for the word "olive" was underneath the pink and lavender it would have been done before the inking for the bill was done.
The teller stamp ink does not stick to the ink on the note is what I am thinking, but it does stick to the paper of the note. Hope that makes sense to you,I have trouble explaining myself sometimes John1
John is correct. The ink from the teller stamp "appears" to be under the printing on the note because the teller stamp ink doesn't stick to the printed ink on the note. It's an optical illusion of sorts. A common misconception.
