Thanks for the extra pics. I cannot make sense of any mint damage, but odd how good the reverse looks as good as it does. Maybe a drill bit on its side and then smoothed and browned over the years of circulation. There is some flattening around the rim too that may have been where it was held when the damage was done. With the weight, definitely loss of metal too. Interesting but as the others have said, I would say PMD.

to the CCF Looks like someone has taken a Dremel tool to it a long time ago, and circulation has smoothed it out.
