"Due to the rise of the spot price of silver and other costs, the United States Mint is raising prices on all numismatic silver products effective July 9, 2024, except for our commemorative coin program products.
As a loyal customer, we wanted to notify you this will impact the price of any subscriptions you have for the Morgan or Peace Silver Dollar Uncirculated Coins which go on sale July 11, 2024. On July 11, the Morgan and Peace Silver Dollar Uncirculated Coins will go on sale for $91.00."

I just got it also. Time to go in and drop my qty count from 3 to 2 on these upcoming releases. It's quite a price jump.

Yikes! I expect to get the same email in the middle of the night. I seem to be further down the email blast list.

It is quite a hike. I wonder how much the gold coins went up.

Wow! A $15 price hike just days before the release. That solidifies my decision to not get any this year.

We The Coin Collecting Community need to Decide, Are the Past Anniversary Editions Really " Collectibles "., At The Above Stated Prices? Another View, Those of US that Collected MORGANS and PEACE Silver Dollars Have Enjoyed the " 100 TH Anniversary ( 1921,- 2021, the Last year of the Morgan and The First Year of The Peace ). Then The Real Greed Kicked In...... Not an 100TH Anniversary Anymore,( unless talking about the Peace dollar series 1921, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 34,35 ) But they Still Print what SELLS ..... I personally Collected the 2021's and ALL to Date, Seriously Not Enjoying be Gouged After Starting The " Anniversary Series.. "....... Seriously Disappointed, Selling GOLD for $ 3200.00 an ounce is NOT enough...Spot Today is $2330.00 an ounce !!!Over $700.00 per Coin profit !!

They will keep selling them—at any price they want—as long as people keep buying them. This is a fact.

Was considering cancelling my Morgan and Peace subscriptions anyway. This solidifies that decision.
MAY still keep the 2-coin RP set subscription but probably not.
Will see about the annual silver set next year.

I got that notice also! What was the price before the increase? (I forget).. I went and looked at last years - they were at $80.00, so an additional $11.00 increase (Did silver go up that much in a year?)

...and cancelled. For those wondering, the uncirculated Peace and Morgan coins last year were $76. Yes, that's a $15 price hike. Proofs were $80 so if the math is the same, they'll be $95.

Quote: MAY still keep the 2-coin RP set subscription but probably not. I contemplated keeping this one going, but I eventually canceled the subscription. One set was all I really wanted and the reason why I did the subscription in the first place was to make sure I got one.

This topic has prompted me to login and confirm those subscriptions were still inactive.

So after browsing the Mint web site, I got an invite to fill out the survey (which I did) I clicked all the buttons, but for the free forms part I added the following:
MINT: 25: If you could suggest one change to improve the U.S. Mint website, what recommendation would you make?
My Answer: Add to the survey concerning the prices or your products. (I'll be canceling my subscriptions for the new Morgan/Peace dollars due to the price increase.)
MINT: 26: Any new product ideas that you would purchase for yourself or as a gift for someone else, that the U.S. Mint should consider for the future?
My Answer: Don't bother - you would probably charge too much anyway...
