Hey everyone, I was scanning over my pennies and came across this one. I can't find anything similar under errors or varieties and wanted some advice. Should I get this coin graded ASAP? Has anyone ever seen anything like this in 2024 pennies? Thanks

Are you referring to that linear feature which appears on the rim and enters Abe's bust? Could be a die crack--which to some would make it a 'spiked bust'.

Cannot recommend submitting for grading--particularly without full, large and sharp pics of the obverse and reverse to evaluate..

It would cost about 40 or more to get graded. Do you think your coin is worth that?

To CCF! It's a Die Crack with a Die Chip. Definitely not worth grading. Grading it would far exceed the value of this coin.

to the CCF There are not any minor "errors" that would warrant slabbing. There isn't any premium to your coin.
