I was on a hunt for my 1916 mercury and found my 1917 Mercury dime! It's not in great shape but it's still got the numbers. This is terrible condition.. but have a looki.

@cf, looks to me like the OP is seeking a dime dated 1916, so this is just one year later.

Pretty heavy wear on this one @ali, but I agree that the date is still clearly visible.

I have what I think may be a well worn 1916 D merc dime. Under a microscope, it looks like there's a little "wedge" or serif, that looks exactly like the D mint mark. It couple also damage.

What's the max magnification a grading company will use to verify a coin?
