As the title says. Just feel like it's near-impossible now. I remember 10 years ago, I would occasionally find a Mercury dime or Indian Head penny, but now, nothing. It's wishful thinking, but it would be nice to come across something good again.

Stop hoarding them from me ;)

This is why I am impressed when someone posts what other people shrug off as "common" coins.

@nic, keep your chin up while you wait for a nice haul. I've found five Buffalo nickels CRHing this week, including two in the same roll!

Finding stuff in change is tough, finding stull coin roll hunting (not exactly change) is a bit more promising.

We should all place in circulation some "older coins" with low numismatic value but a lot of excitement for the finder. I know some are putting Buffalo nickels into circulation let's add wheat cents.

Great way to stimulate interest in coin collecting!

I try to put at least a roll of cull Indian cents back into circulation every year. It isn't always easy!

I now have about $400 in loose change. Someday soon I will get it all rolled up and to the bank. I promise it will include some dateless buffs, older Jeffs and wheat cents. No silver though.

Same goes for rolls at the bank unless you want to pony up the bucks for them to order a box for you. I find plenty of coins to fill slots in my cent, nickel, dime, quarter folders... not near as many for my half dollar folders. Don't get me wrong...that's great and it gives me jollies. So I'm thinkin' I eventually should order a box to start.
