Just got a great subscription offer for the newspaper. Anyone else subscribe or read this publication? Comments?

I get it, I am not renewing. Little content mostly advertising.

I have received it for a few months and I don't find much of the content useful (unless you are following who wants to be on the ANA board) and the articles are very chopped up. That is in addition to what Zohar says about the advertising.

The paper is an Informative and educational weekly News source for the coin collector, there are some very informative articles, good up to date information, and plenty of advertising, overall, I like the articles and enjoy receiving it weekly, as things are always going on in this hobby. I would have to agree with others that the advertising is far more in print than the information it presents, just my opinion, based on receiving the news from the last 2-years....

The only coin paper I ever subscribed to was Coin World, I liked it a lot and recommend it, it's a weekly paper too. John1

I have had a NN subscription for four years now. Yes, it has alot of advertising but so does any other coin magazine these days. Considering that each issue costs less than 75 cents(less than most daily newspapers), you get a monthly price guide supplemental, and you get a coin calender at every renewal, I would say it is a fairly reasonable cost. One of my favorite parts is the Mint Statistics column but I also enjoy the Paul Green series studies, Alan Herbert's Coin Clinic, and the coin show listings.

I'm not renewing my NN coin subscription which is due in about a month. It's not a bad newspaper. I always liked the fact that the advertisements showed up in that paper before the same ones showed up in Coin World, though. Also, their coin values are much more on the mark than Coin World's are. However, you can't beat the $10 PER YEAR price for the digital subscription to Coin World!
