Searching Kennedy halves I've come across more than a dozen of these halves that appear to be doubled and then someone used the term "machine doubled". I'm second guessing myself. What say Ye?

Rather than say yes or no, I want to give you something much more valuable...the tools to find out for yourself whenever you suspect you have a doubled die, RPM, or OMM:
Go to varietyvista.com and look for the e-book concerning your coin. Click on it to find all DDOs (etc. and then find an EXACT match.

Note:
If you do not find an EXACT match to your coin listed using this easy method, then you most likely have a damaged coin or other issues like (non collectable) Machine Doubling, Die Deterioration Doubling, etc. (look these up at error-ref.com)

If after checking there you think you have a match, then feel free to post the link and we can verify for you or help you understand why not :D

The bigger the coin the more Machine Doubling you will find.

1971 is also a year known for hub doubling on the IN of IGWT. Particularly on the right bottom serif of the I. Just something to be aware of, as it very much resembles die doubling, being produced by a similar process.

I agree that the examples above are Machine Doubling, though.
