Frank, the majority of what I see looks like remnants from polishing but the "notching" at the northeast corner of the 7 is interesting.

That split seems distinct enough that I'd try submitting it as a discovery coin for a DDO.

Leaning towards a polishing issue, similar to a trail die. Possibility it is a minor DDO though. John1

Looks like notching on the upper right corner of the 7&1 to me. Congrats.
