My 1961 and1967 pennies are peeling but the 1966 penny doesn't peel and is good shape but odd color out of all my pennies can someone tell me why?

That '66 appears normal. Copper coins can (and will) take on a variety of tints/toning over time. Copper is a very reactive metal.

Do a test; Put any copper coin or copper pipe outside in different areas, even under ground. Check on them in a few weeks, you will see the different tones.

Copper is a chameleon. Different coins, different environments, different toning/coloring.
