The PCGS grade is XF-45 which I think is fair, maybe a bit on the conservative side. This coin has some really nice reddish-gold toning and some remaining luster in the protected areas around stars, date, and legends. Hopefully my opinion that these scarce date Liberty gold pieces are undervalued will eventually be proven correct.

I think PCGS's assessment of XF45 is fair. Just not enough "umpth" to warrant a higher grade. Still a nice coin no matter the grade!
