I recently picked this up on ebay, described as a "clashed die,, which, obviously it isn't.

While I have a coin struck on a feeder finger fragment, I've never really paid a lot of attention to Feeder Finger Damage. I've read through Coop's postings and they are, of course, quite good.

I'm seeing this as Feeder Finger Damage to the die, but I guess there could be other possibilities. Any input is appreciated.

I see that as die polish lines.

Looks like they were polishing out a die clash. Nice looking cent for a 1991.

I made these "photos" on my old Epson scanner. I believe I scanned at 9600 dpi. Of course I had to reduce them to comply with the size requirements here.
