Looks like a ragged clip with a portion that survived being clipped entirely. Very cool looking, did you find this coin?

Very nice ragged clip. And thanks for including the image of the edge which shows the "unevenness" that is evident on ragged clips.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
