I'm struggling with deciphering this LWC. Best I can tell it is a 1920 with an MM.

Weight comes in at 2.96 and I think a good portion of that can be attributed to the clipped planchet. Diameter is 18.99.

Obvious wear but the lack of it on ONE CENT tells me more is going on. Hoping to educate myself on this one - sort of at a loss right now.

Guessing this is just extensive wear on a coin struck from worn dies to begin with. Also looks like a clip!

I agree with the frog that there is heavy circulation wear plus that potential straight clip (but I think indistinguishable now from damage). Sometimes one side of a coin is just more heavily worn than the other.

Could it be a 1922 with worn dies plus then wear on top of that?
