Attached are a few photos showing what looks like a letter between the P and L of the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM. Has this been shown before on the community? Is it likely a die chip in the right area forming a letter? Thanks for always looking at and caring of our coin submissions to this community board.

Agreed. I don't think it was anything caused by the die or strike. There are many unfortunate qualities of the zinc cents, but a prominent one is discovering and identifying die varieties.
