The 1921-S half dollar is a condition rarity: it is available at a modest price when heavily worn but the price increases drastically as the grade improves. Any 1921-S in VF or better grade is very expensive. So, it is very important for the collector to be able to accurately grade this issue.

Here is my circulated '21-S. How would you all grade it?

I would grade it F also, not quite enough detail left for VF.

I would grade this as F-12, all the lines on the skirt are not visable to bring it any higher.

I certainly hope so. Otherwise, I'd have to banhammer him and confiscate his collection for the good of the hobby.

Wait....
