The 250th Anny USMC ASE proof w/ privy mark will be struck at Philadelphia, in the Fall, per the USM 2025 Product Schedule.

The USMC ASE might pair nice with the commemorative dollar in a two piece set, but I would still prefer a silver medal in that hypothetical set.

thanks for the link Celtic! first time I'm hearing about it.. got to keep an eye out for it now  and another thing - what is with the 250th anniversary thing? Yes for the Marines, but all the Military branches didn't start at the same time. Or are they just celebrating the 250th anniv of the US using the Military and the ASEs to do it?

Ahh,, thanks Billy! I was going to looks al that up when I had a moment later on today.. all good info. (So I guess the Air Force is left out on this) and to Gary - thanks But I already have 2 of them I bought on day one.. only had to pay the mint's price..  a PF70 and PF69

I'm sure it's already designed. My idea would be similar to the small eagle on the reverse of the Franklin half. It's already small! What would be cooler yet would be to follow the outline of the eagle on the reverse of the Walking Liberty half, in homage to the original Weinman design that they used for the ASE obverse.
