The 250th Anny USMC ASE proof w/ privy mark will be struck at Philadelphia, in the Fall, per the USM 2025 Product Schedule.

Very nice. I see the Navy one listed as well.

The USMC ASE might pair nice with the commemorative dollar in a two piece set, but I would still prefer a silver medal in that hypothetical set.

thanks for the link Celtic! first time I'm hearing about it.. got to keep an eye out for it now

and another thing - what is with the 250th anniversary thing? Yes for the Marines, but all the Military branches didn't start at the same time. Or are they just celebrating the 250th anniv of the US using the Military and the ASEs to do it?

The US Armed Forces branches were formed in the following years:
Continental Army: June 14, 1775
Continental Navy: October 13, 1775
Continental Marines: November 10, 1775
Coast Guard: August 4, 1790
Air Force: September 18, 1947
Space Force: December 20, 2019

I'm sure it's already designed.
My idea would be similar to the small eagle on the reverse of the Franklin half. It's already small! What would be cooler yet would be to follow the outline of the eagle on the reverse of the Walking Liberty half, in homage to the original Weinman design that they used for the ASE obverse.
